Where Salt and Cedar Works
Salt and Cedar Home Remodeling is locally owned and based in Nashville. Alec runs every project himself, so the service area is set by how far one person can drive to a job and still be there when it matters. That covers Nashville and the towns around it, from Bellevue in the west to Mt. Juliet in the east, and from Hendersonville in the north down to Franklin and Nolensville in the south.
Davidson County is the home market. Nashville and Davidson County share one Metro government, which is why Hermitage and Bellevue have their own pages here but are not separate cities. Hermitage sits on the east side near Percy Priest Lake, and Bellevue sits on the west side along the Harpeth River. Both have many homes built decades ago, with kitchens laid out for a different way of cooking.
South of the city, Brentwood, Franklin and Nolensville are in Williamson County, along the I-65 corridor and the roads that branch off it. North and east, Hendersonville sits on Old Hickory Lake in Sumner County, and Mt. Juliet sits along I-40 in Wilson County. These towns mix older neighborhoods with newer subdivisions, and kitchens in newer homes often come with builder-grade cabinets and counters that owners want to replace once they settle in.
The kind of kitchen you have matters more than the town it sits in. A closed-in kitchen in an older home often needs a layout change. A newer kitchen with a good layout may only need cabinets, counters, tile or a floor. Each town page below covers the services that fit the homes there.
